Post #0223 - Boarskin leather handbag

Dear Earthlings,

Benci! Benci!
I hate for admitting this.
The handbag which I bought in Woodbury  last year is actually a boarskin leather.

(Picture googled)

Before I took out the moo-lah out of my purse,  I did asked the salesgirl and she told me that it's cowskin leather. Relied on her statement, I made the purchase.

This morning, a colleague wanted to buy a handbag from the same brand. Did a bit of research here and there, and stumbled into this.
Ghupa-ghupanya my handbag is .. GENUINE BOARSKIN EMBOSSED COWHIDE LEATHER.

Apparently most of Kate Spade's product are boarskin leather for a reason that this type of leather is durable and anti-scratch.

So how now brown cow?
Mau aku campak je bag nih dalam longkang!

Dear Earthlings,

After having a nak-tanak thought for almost six months, I finally got myself a brand new laptop! Muahahaha!
A big deal for me because I have been contemplating between :

a) i5 -vs- i7
b) 128 GB -vs- 256 GB
and the list goes on.

Since the specs that I wanted are not on the shelf, it has to be customade and the order can only be done via online. So I contacted the helpline and have spoken to its personnel. Ding dong here and there, I finally have decided which one I wanted,  whereby the additional cost I have to top up is around RM1.8k.

I was ready to proceed with the order, until the personnel said that I have to surrender my credit card number and its cvv so he can process my order (managed to get FREE magic mouse).

Pulak dahhhh.. Afraid of fraud etc,  I decided not to proceed even though the website is legit.
According to him, if I order via online personally I will not get freebies.
So I passed.

Wanted to do online purchase but the problem that I have now is the delivery address. Should I receive the delivery at the office or at home? hmm.. Tough choice.

Anyways, I have been sitting on the order for almost 2 months until yesterday, the BlueCompany IT guy send out an email informing that they will shut down the email site that I have been using on this coming December.

That's it.
By hook or crook, kena jugak beli laptop so the IT guy can transfer all my email folders in my laptop.

GadgetGeek said that no point for me to spend so much for a laptop because lifespan for technology is max 2-3 years. Because of his advise, I went straight to the shop and got myself a basic laptop.
The purchase was done in less than 2 minutes.

I just asked the shop whether they have any stock for the intended model. Once they confirmed, I quickly walked to the counter and walllahhhhh.. the laptop is mineeeeeee!! Mineeeee!!!!

Post #0221 - Almost year end

Dear Earthlings,

Hope to find time to update my (almost a year ago) trip to Hong Kong.
School holiday is coming up, and I'm pretty sure that many people out there are busy googling for the tips, which ironically I have plenty of it! including the best spot to watch some shows.

Please bear with me okay.
Pretty tight up with office work (boo-ringggggg), packing and cleaning our new place (which we are yet to move. Slowly but surely) and also getting ready for our year end trip. Insha Allah.

Post #0220 - Sorting and labelling

Dear Earthlings,

Oh, it is so depressing when the Blue Company has decided that we have to execute the 5s thingy. Since our subsidiaries has carry out 5s long time ago,  so now it's our turn.
Sigh.

Anyways,
I don't think I can implement 5s in my house. Too many junks (?) All these are sentimental to me.

On a different page,
we are now in the midst of furnishing our new home.
Yet to move, but has started to clean one room per week. Simply because we are doing this ourselves. No maid or helper to help us out.
Like last Sunday, I cleaned the kids room and bathroom, while GadgetGeek assembling the beds.

Speaking for furnishing, I am on closet mode.
Currently Youngster #1 is using this closet -

And of course, sekarang sudah padat and tak muat.

Inspired by these pictures,

I planned to have a bigger closet since both will be sharing the same room and closet.
So the only closet that come into my mind is PAX, by IKEA.
Reason being, you can adjust the shelves, clothes bar/rail, mix and match sesedap rasa.
Wanted the kids to be independent. Amik baju and simpan sendiri.
Clothes rail tu boleh adjust kasi rendah so the kids can choose and pick their own attire.

Not only that, they also can keep their school bags, hats, accesories etc in separate shelves. At least, takde la bag semua bersepah atas lantai or bergantunggan.
Their bedsheets, blankets, towels semua boleh simpan in one place instead of keeping it in a different room.

In future, kot tak cukup tempat lagi, this closet can be extended. Very practical isn't it?

However, my idea sudah ditembak jatuh oleh GadgetGeek.
Out of budget and too much untuk budak umur 5 dan 3, katanya.

Post #0219 - Car Boot Sale

Dear Earthlings,

This was my first time joining my sistas in car boot sale (second time for them).
Since the place is quite far from ours (Bukit Mahkota, Section 2), it took us almost an hour from Damansara.
Those interested for car boot sale can click the link. They also conduct at other places. Feel free to check. One car lot is only RM7.

The night before the carboot sale, I was quite busy sorting out my things. This includes GadgetGeek stuff.

Me : You nak pakai lagi tak this shoes?
GadgetGeek : Yes
Me : But you memang tak pakai kasut ni. More than six years already. Esok I jual eh.
GadgetGeek : Please don't mess with my stuff. I'm a collector.

Anyways, (i think) he got mad at me because few years ago, I sold off his things for my garage sale which includes my presents to him.
Hahaha.. dendam lama berdarah kembali. Hahaha
Seriously. Tak pakai pon. Dah lama dalam almari. Plastic pon tak bukak lagi.

Anyhoo, I departed at 6.30, reached by 7:30am with my Sista #1.
Sista #3 arrived later with her Che Abe and her 5 months old pokcik.

It's like a picnic on Sunday morning

A couple of hours later, GadgetGeek arrived with Youngster #1 & 2. Reason being, he just wanted to check whether I took his stuff for sale or not. Muahaha.. Tak caya bini kann..

Sold our stuff dirt cheap.
Dresses (NEXT, GAP, etc) for girls age 10-12 at the price of RM8 -  RM10 (used not more than twice), my (new without tag) NINE WEST boots was sold at the price of RM20, Sista #3 NINE WEST boots (bought in Dubai, used once) sold at RM30.
Niece roller blade : RM5,
Nephew's shirts (QUIKSILVER, NEXT, GAP etc) : RM10 - RM5.
My long sleeves tshirts were sold at RM1 per piece.
Sista #4 ADIDAS sneakers : RM10 - RM5. SKETCHERS RM5.
Brand new bedsheet (duvet cover, bedsheet, pillowcase (2) and bolster sheet) - RM30

Some of Youngster #1 & #2 clothes : 50 cent - RM2.
Youngster #1 shoes (2 pairs) and 1 slippers we sold at the total price of RM13.
All in excellent and good condition.

Most of the buyers are nice, but there are some who are harassing us to mark down the price.  Yes, literally harassing. (the 'foreigners' laa especially) Paksa-paksa pulak.
For instance, Sista #1 told the buyer, the price per piece is RM20 (bought the dress more than RM150) Worn once. Anyways, if the buyer intend to take two piece, she will give the price of RM10 each.
The said buyer wanted it to be RM10 for two, meaning RM5 each.
Boleh???
Haih.. macam-macam.

I think total number of cars who participated more than 20. Sale starts at 7.30am until 11am.

Post #0218 - What would I do without you

Dear Earthlings,

During my highschool - uni, we (me and my siblings) would always ask our arwah nenek & mom to pray for us whenever we have to face our exam. My mom would normally perform a solat hajat on the exam day itself. Let say exam starts at 9 am, so she would pray sometime between 9 to 9:30 am. If exam tu untuk 5 hari, maka 5 hari lah akan buat solat hajat.
The candidate herself.. hmm.. subject to kerajinan.

There was a time where I had this one exam (I think it was Corp Financial Management. Yes, I hate this paper so much so I didn't complete the course) and my mom complained to me that she was soooo sleepy whilst praying the hajat. Further, she said that she had this bad feeling that I couldn't pass through the exam.
It happened to be true, I failed the paper.
Hehehe..

So yesterday, was no exception.
I had to face the internal exam conducted by the Blue Company.

Feel like I'm taking a PMR because as soon as I finished my exam, my mom called me up.
Her usual line was - "Boleh buat ke tak boleh?"
And I replied,
"Masa mami smayang hajat tadi tu ngantok tak?"

Hahaha.
Regardless how old we become, we will always depend on our mom isn't?
In my case she would be the laundrette sorter, my trustworthy babysitter, personal chef.. u name it. Anything under the sun.
It explains why even dah tua, still kena bebel dengan mak.

Hahahaha.
I love my mom.
Cliche.
I know.

Post #0276 - Is this purely lazy or what?

Dear Earthlings,

Seriously. The last time I wrote was in mid of Ramadhan. Syawal has already passed and now it's Zulkaedah. How long is that? bwhahahaha

Have many things in mind to share with but time (and the laptop) are the culprit. My 5 year old laptop has started to show her blue screen and I believe it shall kaput anytime soon. Planned to buy the replacement but still has no time to order.

Anyways, on the other side..
After almost ten years in debt with pt.ptn, I finally settled out the balance of my loan on the last date for 20% discount. Alhamdulillah. (also big thanks to my other half)
Took the loan during my first year degree for three years. Used that money to splurge. Ops, I mean to buy books, pay school fees, handphones? etc.
A little regret that I should have placed all the monies into fixed deposit account and/or ASB instead.

Nonetheless, I can't deny that I was contemplating whether to proceed with the installment (10% discount) or to make full payment.

FYI, since I did not sign the (new) agreement (Ujrah) therefore I am not entitle for the change from 3%  to 1% interest. The simple reason why I did not sign was because the agreement is lopsided. Further, you have to give consent so they can access your account (KWSP.LHDN.SOCSO) etc.
Of course la kan tak boleh. Benda confidential kannn..

So, on the afternoon of 30 September 2013, I went to their office in KL Sentral. Sorted the payment after a couple of hours at few counters (verifying counter for latest account update, get the number for the payment counter and wait for your name to be called for the release letter at the other counter).

Yang tak best tu pasal orang yang jaga kat counter most of them macam sombong. Senyum pon tak. Tak faham btol.

Last day of the offer. Crowded.
Latest amount to be paid
Number for payment

Whatever it is, I am relieved because it is off my back!

Dear Earthlings,

How time flies! We are now approaching the mid of Ramadhan, which means we have approximately two more weeks before Raya!

No excuse for me, as this year we are going back to Alor Setar for Raya. Didn't spend much on Raya clothing for me and GadgetGeek. We just rotate which ever that it is already in our closet, except for the kids.

Bought 2 + 2 metres and asked my mom to jahit baju kurung for Youngster #1. Rezeki budak budak, my mom top up another 4 pasang baju kurung for her, making the total of 6 baju kurung. Bila masa nak pakai pon tak tau. My mom used to jahit our baju sekolah, baju raya.. shoulder bag.. curtain.. you name it.. crochet, cross stitch.. kacang goreng je.
Now, jahit untuk cucu pulak.

Same goes to Youngster #2. Asked my mom to jahit.
But since this is her first time sewing a baju melayu johor, she asked me to take the measurement and cut on the paper so later she can potong kain.
So tawakal je lah apa nak jadi. Cantik or not, doesn't matter.
Total pieces nak kena amik measurement - body, side, sleeves, pockets, neck line, and also for the pants.

What else..
hmm..
House chores.. Oh no! Don't let me start on the chores (again)! Can we just leave it alone please.

Anyways, nothing much happening around us except that the BlueCompany have promoted me to another level. Alhamdulillah, though on a second thought, I feel like maintaining the current position. Simply because, with great power comes a great responsibility. Yeah. .. great lah sangat.
Haip! Tak boleh komplen banyak sangat.. nanti tak bersyukur pulak.
(Mostly because takot sangat kepala kena pancung)

Our new residence.. still maintain status quo.
lol.
The house still not complete 100%, issues macam wireman balik kampung. Janji nak datang next week (that was 3 weeks ago) still next week tu tak sampai-sampai. Karang if hire orang lain, merajuk pulak. Melayu punya hal.
So dah give up to countdown, except that GadgetGeek is targeting to go in before end of August.

Oh well..
We'll see.

Post #0274 - Still in maidless mode

Dear Earthlings,

Since the maid has gone balik kampung, I had no choice but to immediately take charge, especially on the laundry because I do not want the history to repeat again - Ehem.. A mountain high laundry.

Not only that, our life has back to normal us where the laundry is done 3-4 times a week, ironing once a week (only iron my and kids clothes. While GadgetGeek's office attire - weekly ironing to laundrette, folding (depends) just because I'm too lazy to do it. But the hardest chores of all is to keep the folded clothes in the closet. Sigh.

Last time we had the luxury of having change of bedsheet twice a week. Ironed bedsheet.
With our current situation, weekly change I think it is more than enough. Non-ironed aka crumple bedsheet.
Lantaks. Janji tukar.

GadgetGeek chores,
sort out trash and tutoring Youngster #1 with Qiraati & English reading.

For the kids,
About three days after the maid left, I then asked the kids to drink milk in cup.
Again, I'm too lazy to clean up the bottle. At first, there was a series of disputes and questions as to why I have to drink in cup. I want the bottle. blah.. blah.. blah..

Well, do I care?
No.
The queen is still alive.
So the kids had no choice but to have their milk in cups.

Next one would be the laundry.
As you know we send the kids full day at school. So the dirty clothes from school, I asked Youngster #1 to take out from the bags into the laundry basket.
Yeah, sounds simple.. but I think a little help would do.
Toys, I normally asked the kids to clean up before they go to bed. If not, I will have sore eyes if I can see their toys in the living room next morning.

GadgetGeek has asked me since last month to look for the replacement. I still cannot find time to go to the agency.

Dinner time. Well the good news is.. our kitchen is now being treated as the house accessory. We could just tapau, or head to my family's place :D
Then after dinner can balik tido.

Dear Earthlings,

Last time we were able to cope our life without maid. Mainly because we had never really have one. But this time, though we only had it for merely 6-7 months, it really hit us (a bit).

The tense is building up because the kids are no longer have their breakfast before going to school, the laundry is piling up (the washing and drying are the easiest one. Thanks to the press of a button), but the chaos starts when GadgetGeek is scheduled for business trip.
His attire has to be ironed prior packing into the suitcase. And don't let me start on unpacking.
No more luxury of having ironed-cleaned bedsheet twice a week. Janji tukar saja bedsheet.

Since all the chores we have to do ourselves, I now discovered -

1) My vacuum cleaner has thousands of scratches. Thanks to my previous maid.
2) Someone dropped my color palette make up. The casing sudah pecah a bit same goes with some of the colors. I know because the kids never play with my things on the dressing table, and I.. of course wouldn't drop my palette. Thanks to my previous maid.
3) The laundry floor was supposed to be cleaned & mopped everyday. On the first day I stepped into the laundry area, I noticed it was dusty and looks like it has never been cleaned. Thanks to my previous maid.
4) My favourite bangle has gone. Thanks to my previous maid.
5) Mop and ironing board sudah patah. Thanks to my previous maid.
and many more things that I realised my previous maid did not do her job throughly.

Post #0272 - Chanting "It's all about teamwork.. it's all about teamwork"

Dear Earthlings,

We have returned the 7 months maid balik kampung.
It started because of this one sms, coming from the maid's cousin. Knew her during the maid's first outing in KL.CC.

Followed by conversations between the maid and my mother.
According to my mother, the maid plan to balik kampung in July. She texted me when I was in the office (3 days later after I received the above sms)

Why another month?
Basically because she needs pocket money. For the past 6 months she's working she withdrew all her salary (every month) and mostly spent on reload/top up. Ironically she rarely contact her husband, but spent most of her time texting her friends here.

Two weeks before everything started to mess up, she woke up late for almost a week though we'd already given her alarm clock etc. She goes to bed before 10 every night. So I expect her to be ready by 6 am. Most of the time latter than 6.45am. If it wasn't me who woke her up, I don't know what time she got up.

I was the one who knocked the door to wake her up, which pretty sick and tiring for me. That time GadgetGeek was on business trip, leaving me stressed up alone. Upon his return, we discussed how to go about this, seeing that the maid is planning to run away.

Why I believe that she plans to run away?
She is one talkative person. But that whole week she was not being her. More of being silent. Previously, she always shared to me her working experience.
There was one story when she was working in Manila. She told her Employer that she wants to balik kampung, but ended she went to work with the Employer's neighbour.

Another story, one of her friends ("N" - refer to the above sms) ranaway from the Employer. So I told her not to do that to us. She replied, "don't worry Madame. I will not do that. I will tell you that I want to balik kampung".

Fastforward.
Come Sunday, her outing day (or should I say her pre-plan lari day).
GadgetGeek blurted to her that she cannot go outing because we cannot get on hold the Agent. (We paid the Agent to process permit etc. Surrendered the maid's passport back in November last year). It turned out that our Agent misrepresented the (registered) Agency and is a conman.

Can't wait no more, we seek for friends advices. A friend advised to send the maid straight to depoh. Some advised to send to the Embassy etc.

Cut the story short.
FRIDAY (2 days earlier)
I went to immigration to check on the Employer status whether there was any submission for permit under our name. - Negative.
Then I went to immigration (Enforcement Department). Been advised by the Officer in charge.
Later that evening GadgetGeek went to the police station to lodge report. Storied from A-Z. Almost 2 pages long I think.

SATURDAY - King's Holiday

SUNDAY
GadgetGeek break the news to the maid and asked her to pack up.
The maid insisted on going for outing.
But we re-advised her to pack and her outing is cancelled.
The maid gave excuse that she needs to buy suitcase to pack. (Still want to go for outing)
We didn't allowed but gave her one large suitcase instead.
And of course, her handphone rang like hell. Received call every other minute.
Can you just imagine?

Later that evening, we went to my parent's place for dinner and she had the nerve to say to my father "My Employer don't want me anymore".
Like, whatdehell??
Her work performance is degrading, woke up late, always on the phone.. U think??

Even though she gave us hardtime, we still took her for some shopping and Putrajaya sightseeing.

MONDAY
1) Took her to the Embassy to process her travel document.
Thought of leaving her at the Embassy but the Embassy said that it is not their problem. Have to deal with the Immigration.
And getting a travel document is not that hard. They don't even bother to look at our police report and it was ready in 3 hours. VERY EFFICIENT.

2) Afternoon to the Malaysia Immigration (Enforcement). The other officer-in-charge advised how to apply the 6P Programme.
(Employer to prepare letter addressed to the Immigration, attach the yellow form & letter from the Embassy, flight ticket)
3) Went back home, bought one way ticket, drafted the letter and we went off to the Immigration again.
4) The Immigration did the process and the maid was thumb print registered.
Later the Immigration issued the release travel document.

OK.
What is 6P Programme.
Program Pem.utihan for PA.TI.
Little that we know to have maid from Philipines, we have to use calling visa unlike from Indonesia. (We thought only from Cambodia use calling visa).
So since the period of stay has lapsed and has no passport she is considered a PA.TI. Pendatang Asing Tanpa Izin.
Having a PA.TI inside our house, we can easily be fine up to RM30,000 in total. RM5,000 per head if I'm not mistaken. Imprisonment included. That was advised by the Immigration Officer to us.

However, there is a fine line when you are deporting a PA.TI.
He/She cannot enter our country for the next five years.Anyways, we just want to get over and done with.

Cost incurred by us
Travel document from Embassy RM115.50
(Both of our cars kena saman dekat Embassy. There was no parking lot, parked by the roadside) $$$
Penalty from Malaysia Immigration RM400.00 (kalau tak, kena RM3000.00. Nasib baik 6P still on)
Flight ticket (Cebu Air)(KL-Manila-Zamboanga) RM800 (inclusive meal & baggage allowance)
We also paid her full salary for the month.RMxxxx (duit titik peluh orang kerja kena bayar in full)

Despite that we had to fork out our money, the maid questioned us :
1) Why we took the very next day flight for her? Why not wait until the end of stay period? (The Embassy gave 3 months extension of stay)
Simple - we do not want to take any risk.
2) Why travel document only? Why did not request for passport?
OK.
YOUR travel document cost us for RM115. And can you answer why we do not want to spend more on your passport? To apply passport is RM600++
According to her it only cost her 2000 peso (approx RM200) to get passport in her home country. So I told her to apply for it once she's home.

For these reasons, I now understand why the Employer just let go the maid if the maid lari. Obviously because of these unnecessary expenses!!
We could have just deduct from her current month salary. Tapi kesian.
Sebab dari keluarga susah. Rumah atas air. Kerja hari-hari basuh baju dapat upah 100 peso sehari (RM10).

At the airport, I forwarded ALL her money and asked her to write the total she received. We are lucky because we documented every single cent in and out, and her monthly salary is bank-in in separate account.

My father reminded us to make sure that we give all of the maid's money. Kalau ajal dah sampai, mana nak cari maid ni nak pulang hak duit dia. Tak perlu nak buat deduction untuk flight ticket ke.. apa ke. Anggap je tak ada rezeki and things happened for a reason.

What to bring to the Airport.
1) Air flight ticket
2) Travel document (yellow paper from Embassy)
3) Release letter from Malaysia Immigration

Ni lah orang kata, bagi betis nak peha.
Dah layan elok, still tak syukur. Takpelah. Bukan rezeki kitaorang nak ada maid, and bukan rezeki dia untuk kerja dengan kitaorang.

Rumah pakai washer & dryer, kids go to school full day, all she needs to do cuma sort out the laundry and cleaning. She is free to use handphone as long as she completes her chores.
That's all. Yang tu pun susah sangat ke?
Too bad. We really liked her.

On the next day, she rang me to inform that she has reached home. Even her mother spoke to my mom, thanking for taking care of her daughter.
Too bad that she has decided not to work with us. We even planned to give her RAYA Bonus next month.
What ever it is, life goes on. We wish her best of luck in whatever things that she is doing.

ps - "Madame, later I add you on my facebook ok".
Haaa... boleh???
Rasanya maid kitaorang ni culture shock.

Dear Earthlings,

I believe many was ignorant (including me) on the policital issues in our country before this. And surprisingly 5 May 2013 marked another history for Malaysia whereby almost 80% have casted their vote for the next term government.

Casted my vote later in the afternoon together with my friend 'Skyfall' for 1.5 hours.Terkejut sorang sorang sebab pakai earphone.

"Dik, calit cantik-cantik eh",
and I got this :P

Seriously. The mark is still there after I washed it.
Those who can wipe it off easily, I believe they wiped it immediately before casting their vote. I think laa. If salah mintak maap.

Post #0265 - Until we meet again my dear clutchy

Dear Earthlings,

In my earlier entry I told that I can never wear this clutch (yet) because it is too expensive for me. Guilty conscious moment.

Recently, I finally had the guts to use it for the BlueCompany dinner.
This is the only picture I have with the clutch on.
Not liking it, because I was not ready at all!

Dear Earthlings,

WARNING : Lengthy story

Today marked the sixth month our helper is with us. Of course there are hiccups here and there, but I can't get the best of everything isn't it? So I have to be thankful regardless.

We normally send the helper to her cousin house for her outing days. Until one fine day, she told me that she wanted to go lepak downtown meeting her friends. FYI, this happened about two months ago.

On that particular morning, GadgetGeek was already out for meeting. So I  had to sort out the outing. On our way to her cousin house, the helper told that she wants to go to downtown. Seriously, I really hate last minute change of plan.

Since the two Youngsters were with me, I had no choice but to ask the helper to go by cab. To make things easy,  I hailed the cab for her. Called her every 15 minutes to make sure that she reached her destination. 30 - 40 minutes later she reached down town.
I reminded her that I will pick up at the last spot around 5pm that evening.

At 4.30pm, I called her but the call went to the voicemail.
And it goes on until 5.30pm.
I waited and searched at the pick up point, but couldn't see her whereabout.

So I went to the cousin's house. Had no clue, so I asked the people around the area. Surprisingly, that person was the cousin's landlord. According to her the cousin has not been paying the rental for 2-3 months already and rarely come back to the house.

Only God knows what has been crossing my mind when I heard the news.
I just conclude.. "Oh, shit. My maid run away".

You see, everything is A okay until you get a maid.
This is when you get spoilt! Pfft.
The maid do the chores. You sit down and look pretty. (don't take this literally)
So now I understand why some people (including me, now) cannot live without maid.
Arrggghhh...!

Okay. Back to my story.
Called up GadgetGeek,  and he asked me to return home.
At home, I called up the cousin, asked for few numbers.. and I ended rang up the whole clan. Everybody (the helper's friends which I don't even know them) was in the state of panic looking for her.

We determined that if she cannot be found, we are going to make a police report.

One of the calls I made, I spoke to one of her friends that she met up earlier that day. According to her, they split up around 4pm because my maid needs to be at the pick up point at 5.

Then it hit us.
What if the taxi driver kidnapped her? Kidnap, rape and kill?
Afterall, she is not familiar with the streets in KL. Very scary indeed!

In the midst of chaos, I went to the kitchen and washed the dishes.
Don't ask me why. But that is what I do best when I got stressed up. I do chores!

We continued calling her number but same answer - Voicemail.
Right after maghrib, GadgetGeek drove out to the pick up point while me, waited at the house with kids.

15 minutes later, GadgetGeek called me up saying that he has found her.

Where?
Around the pick up point.
The maid walked to his car and told that she waited for us since 5pm. Her phone was running out of batt. (She has been using her old phone from her hometown)
She told that she couldn't see my car because there are so many white cars.
Eleh. Blame for my massive production car some more.

Later that night, GadgetGeek took her to the mobile shop to get a new phone. As a gift, for the sake of her safety.

Anyhow, what's important I thank God she is safe and sound!
And yes, GadgetGeek still making fun of me doing the dishes when the maid gone missing.

Post #0263 - Gonna be a tough one

Dear Earthlings,

I have to admit that I am an observer since 12 years ago.
Passed my right (two times to be exacted), didn't register at all. Unlike, GadgetGeek who is .. err.. so patriotic.

Anyways, I may practise my right to vote this year.

1. Went to Kelantan during the Candidate Selection Day and saw green Moon conquering the streets.

2. Picked up few souvenirs for my Boss. She is one die hard fan of Blue.

3. Was curious about these small flags near our neighbourhood until I posted in FB. (That is where you get the latest answer/info/enquiry nowadays)

Received few comments.
Some say, it's the Candy Crush game colour.
Some say, it's Cup Cake Party.

Which ever party who wins this coming election, I hope they serve the best for  Rakyat.

Happy voting everyone!

Dear Earthlings,

Saw couple of mugs Orla Kiely inspired in Parkson. Bought a pair as they are too cheap to pass. One selling for RM6.90 I think.

Strolled through their Home Department and saw these jewelleries boxes selling half price (RM29.90 & RM24.90). (They have many kind).  Also angkut jugak. Great to store Youngster #1 accesories yang tak seberapa tu.

After check out, she didn't waste any time. Quickly she asked wet tissue from me. Wanted to wipe off the dust (if any) which I can't see any of 'em.

It doesn't stop there.
At home, she continued wiping. This time wet tissue + (her)  Johnson cologne.

Day by day, I can see that Youngster #1 is becoming more like my BigSis. VERY picky with her attire, knows how to take care of her things and most importantly she's becoming one heck of OCD.

If this goes on, well.. I'm in BIG trouble.. because mak dia suka sepah!
Sure dapat lecture from her. Kompem!
